It is important to clear and cleanse our homes and workplaces before conducting spiritual work, specifically for the room you will be using to attend the Reiki Classes.
WHY? To raise the vibration of your room, and remove any negative energies that can cause an impediment to spiritual progress.
WHERE: ROOM SACRED SPACE CLEANSING (the room you attend class/practice reiki or meditation from)
HOW: To assist in this, I have created a how-to video using various cleansing instruments that demonstrates the ideal way to use each tool and perform the Spiritual Space Cleansing.to raise the vibration of your room or bedroom.

For those who have signed up, please read the below Class Preparation guidelines carefully, using common sense and caution.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO PREPARE FOR ATTUNEMENT?
The Reiki attunement is an initiation process made at the Reiki I&II level whereby your ability to channel the Reiki energy is activated. It is done by activating three chakras and kundalini:
1 – Crown (top of the head)
2 – Heart (middle of the chest)
3 – Palm of the hands
4 – Kundalini
while preparing the subtle bodies for channeling positive energies.
During this activation process, the energy field of your aura, chakras, and physical body can release toxins even days after the attunement. For this reason, we want to minimize such reactions by cleansing and strengthening your bodies ahead of time so that your body can handle the higher vibration. The recommendations below will allow you to receive the most out of your attunement and experience the least reactions.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO PREPARE FOR ATTUNEMENT?

- Avoid red meat and fish for (3) three days before your attunement. These foods can contain toxins and heavy metals that lower the frequency of our being.
- Consider a fast with water or juices, for (1) one to (3) three days. Especially if you are already a vegetarian or have previous experience with fasting.
- Minimize the use of coffee or drinks with caffeine, avoiding them entirely if possible for a few days before the attunement since they create an imbalance in the nervous and endocrine system.
- Don’t drink alcohol, for at least (3) three days prior to the attunement.
- Reduce or limit the consumption of sweets and chocolate.
- If you smoke, reduce the amount for a few days before the attunement. Try not to smoke the day of the attunement.
- Try to Meditate for ½ hour each day, every day during the week of your attunement, or simply pass some time in silence.
- Reduces or eliminates time watching TV, listening to the News or reading the Newspaper.
- Go on a daily walk-in nature, 1-2 weeks prior to class.
- Seek to liberate rage, fear, jealousy, hate, concerns, etc…

How Do Distance Reiki Attunements Work?
Becoming a Reiki Practitioner and studying this ancient healing modality involves many elements, including what is called a Reiki Attunement.
What is an Attunement
After many years of experience conducting Reiki Attunements, I can very distinctively feel the energies that come from the spiritual realm to Attune the students; they are of a different nature to those of the human bodies and chakras. They hold a very unique type of frequency and blessing.
The Attunement (equivalent to a baptism) ceremony activates and directs certain energy centers within you so that you become permanently connected to the Universal Life Force and her infinite supply of healing energy.
How does an Attunement Work
Similar to other everyday experiences that involve the transfer of energy over long distances (such as email, satellite calls, and broadcast radio waves), the principles of Reiki are the same. The energy is everywhere; it travels through time and space without wires and is directed by thought and intention. This is why attunements can be made both in person and at a distance.
Why Attunements occur even at a distance
Performing a Reiki Healing session normally occurs without the need for physical touch, since the healing is transmitted energetically through the subtle bodies.
Therefore, whether a reiki session is performed in person (without physical touch) or at a distance, the client will receive the same level of healing.
Over the past 15 years, I have successfully conducted Reiki Healing both in person and over a live phone/video conference with clients feeling the same energy flow and healing results.
Distance Attunement is the same form of energy transmission without being physically present with a person/client/student. The energy activations are all possible due to the laws that govern the spiritual world. We in turn should be very grateful for such a blessing. Trust and allow the blessing to take place, you will not be disappointed.

This is the best crystal to work with and magnetize the vibration of love. To me, Rose quartz is the most important of all the crystals if you had to choose only one to work with.

MANTRA VIDEO GLOSSARY:
SPANDA = In the yogic tradition, SPANDA is the subtle creative pulsation that manifests in all living and non-living entities.
SAMADHI = In yoga, samadhi is considered to be the state in which individual and universal consciousness unite. It is a blissful form of total meditative state.
CHANT = A chant (from French chanter, from Latin cantare, "to sing") is the rhythmic, repetitive singing or speaking of sounds and phrases either vocally or mentally, often primarily on one or two main pitches called reciting tones. A chant is a word or group of words that is repeated over and over again. A chant is a religious song or prayer that is sung repetitively on only a few notes. As long as you repeat something with focused attention, you'll get results.
THE 6 RULES OF VEDIC CHANTING: Considered to be a divine revelation to the ṚISHI (a Hindu sage or saint) of ancient India, Vedic Chanting is bound by strict adherence to six rules – Varṇa (pronunciation), Svara (chanting notes), Mātrā (duration) Balam (force), Sāma (continuity) and Santāna (conjugation, punctuation)
RISHI MEANING IN HINDU: A Rishi is an Indian seer or hearer and revealer of divine knowledge. A seer or sage who has discovered eternal truths and deep levels of spiritual knowledge through periods of intense meditation.
THE BEST INSTRUMENT TO CHANT WITH: The harmonium is the perfect instrument for chanting as it creates a beautiful sound that feels like a choir is singing with you.
HOW TO PERFORME A CHANT: Chant out loud, with your voice wide open. Chant quietly, almost like you can redirect the sound to your own heart and let it flow from there. Chant silently, internally, so quietly that your attention can only remain with the mantra. The chanting of sacred sound vibrations is known as MANTRA YOGA, JAPA, or MANTRA MEDITATION. This ancient practice is one of the most powerful ways to clear your mind, focus your concentration and connect you with the Supreme Creator.
JAPA MEDITATION = Japa is the spiritual practice of continuously repeating a Mantra, either audibly, whispering or mentally. Japa literally means “muttering” in Sanskrit.
THREE TYPES OF JAPA:
- Vachika Japa, the mantra is pronounced audibly, by the activity of the glottis, throat, the tongue, lips, teeth, cheeks, and the palate.
- Upamsu Japa, is whispering or humming the mantra quietly. Upanshu is also a Sanskrit word and means “in a low voice” or “in a whisper.”, the mantra is murmured so softly that only the yogi him/herself can hear it or distinguish what is being repeated.
- Manasika Japa, is internal chanting, or chanting within the mind only, and requires a great level of focus and attention. The ancient yogis tell us that silent chanting is 100,000 times more effective than chanting out loud.
ONE JAPA IS DONE 108 TIMES: each chant repetition represents a journey from our material self towards our highest spiritual self. According to Ayurveda, there are 108 pressure points in the body, where consciousness and flesh intersect to give life to the living being.
MOST POWERFUL JAPA: Manasika japa is recited in the mind. It is said to be 1000 times more effective than Upamshu japa and thus 100 000 times more effective than Vaikhari japa. It is also said to be difficult or impossible to practice for those who are not already grounded in Vaikhari japa practice, which is the most appropriate for beginners.
THE MOST WELL KNOWN HINDU MANTRA: The "GAYATRI MANTRA" is considered one of the most universal of all Hindu mantras, invoking the universal Brahman as the principle of knowledge and the illumination. The mantra is extracted from the 10th verse of Hymn 62 in Book III of the Rig Veda.
HOW TO PICK A MANTRA: Typically, the best way to find your mantra is to ask yourself what it is you need. Let the deficit guide you instead of being a weakness but don't become too attached to one mantra you think is right. It's important to try new mantras on and see how they fit. You may be surprised.
HOW DO YOU SIT WHILE CHANTING MANTRAS: The ideal way to chant is to sit in padmasana posture, in crossed legged sitting position, with your backbone erect. Head should be straight without bending or raising and eyes should be closed.
MALA = mala (Sanskrit: माला; mālā, meaning 'garland') is a loop of prayer beads (containing 108 beads) commonly used in Indian religions such as Hinduism or Christianity (as in a prayer rosary), used for the practice of your Japa (chanting)
HOW MANY TIMES CHANT A MANTRA DAILY: One should have a Mala or Rosary consisting of 108 beads as is significant in all Tantra & Veda Texts. Repeat Mala for 2 to 3 times daily (one Mala = 108 times repetition of the mantra)
- One Mala = 108 repetition of the mantra
- Two Malas = 2 x 108 repetition of the mantra, results in 216 times
- Three Malas = 3 x 108 repetition of the mantra, results in 324 times.
